Yes, effective January 1, 2003, all home inspectors must be licensed by the State of Illinois to perform home inspections in Illinois. Thomas Myers and Mike Clements are licensed Illinois Home Inspector and HomeOwner Services, Inc. is a licensed Entity in Illinois.

A HomeOwner Services, Inc., professional home inspection will identify the problems, offer solutions, and give cost estimates for major repairs and replacements. The inspection findings are reviewed with you at the end of the inspection and e-mailed or faxed to you within 24 hours. The report binder is reviewed and presented to you at the end of the inspection.
The HomeReview Book is a full narrative report using an advanced computerized reporting system complete with digital photos. The narrative format addresses each of the 7 areas to be inspected, describing how they were inspected along with any deficiencies discovered. Don't worry about getting too much information. Our report clearly separates major from minor problems and includes a summary section. The summary at the end of the report highlights any areas of concern
Do I need to attend the Inspection?
We want you there; your inspection will be one of the most fascinating learning experiences of your life. By the time the inspection is done, you will most likely know the home better than the previous owner. We guide you through the home and teach you about each of the major systems and components. By accompaning us on the inspection, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive first-hand answers.
How does the scheduling process work?
Because timeliness is important, we can usually schedule your inspection within a few days from your call. And, we perform inspections six days a week, evening appointments are also available, daylight permitting. There may be an additional charge for Sunday inspections.
